Why Riwaq

Knowledge should
feel connected.

رِوَاق

Riwaq is a thoughtful home for Qur’an, Islamic learning, memorization and daily worship.

The name evokes a covered passage: a place of connection, reflection and learning. That idea shapes the platform. A passage leads to a question; a question leads to study; understanding finds its way into practice.

We want that journey to feel approachable for someone taking their first steps, and worthwhile for someone returning with deeper questions.

Who it serves

Different starting points.
A shared intention to learn.

For the curious beginner.

Start with letters, a reading, a lesson or a useful daily practice. There is room to begin without knowing the whole path.

For the returning learner.

Study a passage more closely, revisit a difficult distinction or find an attributed reading that invites more careful thought.

For learning together.

A separate Education experience is being developed for teachers and institutions, with explicit permissions and clear Personal boundaries. General institutional access is not yet offered.

Sources & care

Useful learning begins
with careful boundaries.

Qur’anic wording, attributed explanation and educational guidance serve different roles. Riwaq aims to keep those differences clear.

01

Keep the source close.

Readings and explanations retain their attribution, with relevant coverage and qualifications kept in view.

02

Learn without losing context.

Complete passages, surrounding meaning and careful correction matter more than collecting quick answers.

03

Your Personal space is personal.

Private study and worship records stay separate from permission-based Education experiences.

Attribution over invented authority.

Available Qur’an, translation, Tafsir, lexical and Hadith resources retain their named sources. Coverage and qualifications vary; a missing explanation is not replaced by an invented one.

Learning support, with honest limits.

Riwaq does not claim scholarly endorsement, automatic recitation certification or comprehensive coverage of every Islamic discipline. Seek qualified teachers and scholars for instruction and individual religious questions.

A growing platform.

Deeper Mutashābihāt discovery, broader Education access and native experiences remain developing work. Further reading-tradition resources have their own source and availability requirements. The current web experience is the place to begin.

Common questions

Begin with
clarity.

Explore freely, and understand what each tool can offer.

Can I use Riwaq from this website?

This website is an interactive sneak peek. Explore demonstrations and genuine product views here, and follow our Instagram journey for news about public access. No learner-app launch is offered from this site.

Is Riwaq only for beginners?

No. Foundations help new learners begin, while Ayah Study, lexical resources, attributed readings and revision tools offer other ways to explore. Depth and coverage vary by subject and source.

How does Riwaq handle sources?

Qur’anic text, translation, commentary and educational guidance retain their distinct roles. Resources show their attribution and relevant qualifications; Riwaq does not generate religious authority or claim scholarly endorsement.

Does it assess my recitation automatically?

No. Listening, self-reported practice, recognition questions and independent wording checks serve different purposes. None automatically certifies a complete recitation, memorization or Tajweed.

What can I use offline?

Supported public Qur’an resources can be kept on a device using the app’s offline and storage controls. Availability depends on what has been downloaded. Audio and private account data are not automatically available offline.

Can teachers see my personal worship records?

Education and Personal are separate permission spaces. An education role does not automatically grant access to your personal Hifz, worship, journal or study records. Broader Education access is still developing.

Are all features available now?

This preview showcases existing capabilities alongside clearly labelled development plans. Public access and availability will be announced separately. The broader Mutashābihāt workspace, Education access and native apps are still developing.

Can Riwaq replace a teacher or scholar?

Riwaq can support reading, study and practice. It does not replace qualified instruction, scholarly judgment or individual religious advice.

How Guide works

Guide explains Riwaq using a reviewed product knowledge base. Its core replies are selected from verified product knowledge. Optional browser-local AI can choose among approved phrasings on compatible devices; it does not invent product facts. It can make mistakes and cannot give religious rulings.

This is a preview website. Guide cannot access an account, save learning progress or announce a launch date. Messages stay in this page’s memory and disappear when you reload or leave.

Open this explanation to check whether your browser already has a supported language model. No model is downloaded by Guide.

Experimental local generative AI can write more natural responses on compatible devices. Enabling it downloads a large model and may use significant battery, storage and memory. Your chat remains in this tab; the model files are fetched from their provider. Standard Guide works without it.

Off by default. No paid API or hosted inference.
